1. Matt surface
Nothing speaks lush and glam as a matt surface for your interiors. Fenix surfaces have low light reflectivity and are opaque in nature. One look and you’ll fall in love with them! Be it your living room, kitchen, bathroom, or even outside your home, at the office, at educational institutes, anywhere.
2. Soft-touch
Unlike regular interior design surfaces, FENIX materials are ultra-smooth and have a pleasant touch. This is because the materials are made of paper and thermosetting resins, 60%, and 30-40% respectively. Heat and pressure are applied simultaneously resulting in a homogenous and non-porous product.
3. Anti-fingerprint
The FENIX materials are anti fingerprint. That means you can keep experiencing its soft touch without worrying about leaving fingerprints. And even if there are any, they can be simply cleaned with a damp cloth. This also brings us to our next feature!
4. Thermal healing of micro scratches
Cleaning the FENIX surface is a breeze. You can simply clean it with a damp cloth or use thermal healing. Take a microfibre cloth and wet it with water. Then use a simple home iron to iron out the damp cloth.
When it is completely dry, you will see that the micro scratches are gone! That is how easy and low maintenance these materials are!
Two types of materials available: FENIX NTM® and FENIX NTA®
FENIX NTM, launched in 2013, is a technological and aesthetically-pleasing response to two interior design trends: smart materials and matt surfaces. It is now available in 20 classic colors for vertical and horizontal applications.
FENIX NTA is a metal surface that has been empowered: it is highly matt, gentle to the touch, anti-fingerprint, and resistant to superficial micro-scratches.
The items feature a minor directionality that is evident only in certain lighting situations. For added safety, there are directions on the product packaging. FENIX is easily machined using common carpenter equipment. It’s easy to cut, grind, drill, edging, bend, and glue them.
